Episode 2: Parenting Styles: We Survived

**Trigger Warning: Mention of domestic violence and sexual abuse. **In this 58-minute episode, Adam and Jennifer discuss parenting styles they individually experienced while shedding light on their family backgrounds.

We learn that Jennifer and Adam grew up in vastly different households. Jennifer touches on being the product of rape, being verbally and physically abused by her mother, and sexually abused by her mother’s second husband. Whereas Adam speaks on being raised in a two-parent household, attending a private school in beautiful Santa Barbara, CA, and the challenges of being the youngest of two in a Latino family.
